Meet the home chef Harlene Deane retired from the airline industry as a 28-year international flight attendant. She has a daughter in college and lives with her husband on Cat Island. Her varied background includes a stint as a sous chef in a popular cooking school in Southern California as well as writing food and travel articles for a national publication to writing lowcountry restaurant reviews. Her passion for food and cooking has led to a new career as a personal chef. Ms. Deane is a member of the United States Personal Chef Association, a national organization dedicated to maintaining the highest professional standards throughout the Personal Chef industry.
